My name is Ursula and I live in Auckland, New Zealand/Aotearoa. I was appointed as an Independent Marriage Celebrant by Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) in 2015.

 

It is an absolute privilege for me to be part of a wedding day. You may already have some idea as to what you would like included in your ceremony, or you may have no idea at all. Either way, I would gladly assist in making your day as down to earth or formal, as unique or traditional, as you would like!

 

This part of the wedding (the ceremony) should not be stressful. I am here to assist you in making it as stress-free and enjoyable as such a special occasion should be.

 

I can consult you on the legal aspects of getting a wedding licence, sharing ideas and ways of making your marriage ceremony just as you had imagined.

 

When it comes to being a celebrant, I hold people and the journey of their relationships, at the centre of my interests. One of the skills I bring from my profession of working with people is the able to gain insight into a couples shared values and goals. Understanding these values and goals helps to develop a marriage ceremony that reflects exactly what any couple hold as important to them.

 

I am a calm, confident person and speaker, with a sense of humour and caring attitude. I absolutely look forward to standing alongside you through this amazing adventure - getting married!!
